Funerals at the Churchof Saint Bernard

To schedule a funeral at the Church of Saint Bernard:
First, contact the funeral home of your choice. (Saint Bernard most often works with either:- Bradshaw Funeral Home (1078 Rice St) or
- Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, 2130 Dale Street N.)
You may suggest your preferred days for the funeral, but the funeral director and priest will determine the final day and time based on availability.
Second, the priest from Saint Bernard will contact the family using the contact information given by the funeral director to schedule a meeting to make the specific arrangements for the funeral Mass and graveside service.
Fees associated with a funeral at Saint Bernard are collected by the Funeral Home:- $375 for the funeral Mass/service (Check made out to Church of Saint Bernard), including $120 for the organist (check made out using the name of the organist)
- $100 for a soloist (check made out using the name of the organist)
- Clergy Honorarium is not required but gratefully accepted: around $100
Graveside Catholic Service (Burial) only: $250
Funeral Lunches
Funeral luncheons can be hosted in Saint Bernard’s Parish Center. The fee to use the Parish Center is $200.
